Have you opened an HBase JIRA for this yet, [[email protected]] to figure out
how to maintain this capability? We rely on it in several ways at SFDC.
FYI, [~lhofhansl] - this is related to setting KEEP_DELETE_CELLS = true on a
scanner on the RS.
