[~elserj], we need another fix https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-18872
for proper projection pushdown for join queries.
And, on another hand, it seems predicate pushdown is disabled for MR job. which
I think should need to be handled at HiveStoragePredicateHandler level for
proper handling. So raised HIVE-18873.
