Istvan Toth commented on OMID-274:
----------------------------------

Even the new interface detection added in OMID-249 is not foolproof for some
extremely paranoid network/firewall configurations.

> Add option to explicitly set ip address to be registered in ZK for HA

> Omid currently lets you set the interface to be registered in ZK, and tries
> to pick an address from that interface.
> However, this doesn't let you pick the exact address, and the one Omid picks
> is not guaranteed to be reachable from the rest of the cluster. (The
> interface may have a number of IPv4 and/or IPv6 adresses that satisfy Omid's
> criteria, and omid picks the first one)
> Add a configuration option to set the address to be set in ZK explicitly.
