Hi everyone, I wanted to provide an update on the ongoing work for HBase 3.x support in Apache Phoenix. I’ve recently started working on this effort, based on the initial draft change provided by István. A big thank you to István for their work and help!
So far, I’ve submitted four pull requests addressing various aspects of the HBase 3.x support, specifically focusing on areas such as Zookeeper handling and ensuring compatibility with HBase 3’s client connection mechanisms. These changes are being tracked under the following JIRA issues: PHOENIX-7476, PHOENIX-7478, PHOENIX-7481, and PHOENIX-7505. I would like to kindly request a review for these pull requests.
