Numbered references are not maintainable,
Alan's proposal in his comment dated '26/Oct/10 16:27' works with named aliases
as well.
I am planning to go work on that proposal.
The use of "*" is supported in cogroup, order-by and join statements as well,
so I am planning to keep it consistent and support this syntax in those
statements as well.
bq. *+ would mean "all columns not referenced"
In this initial implementation I am planning to support only 'all columns in
range'. If there is enough interest for 'all columns not referenced' feature
that can be added later.
