Dmitriy V. Ryaboy commented on PIG-1863:
----------------------------------------

Brandon et al -- where did you find jackson 1.0.1? Looking at
ivy/libraries.properties , it's pulling 1.6.

tw-mbp13-dryaboy:pig-svn dmitriy$ grep jackson ivy/libraries.properties
jackson.version=1.6.0

tw-mbp13-dryaboy:pig-svn dmitriy$ ls build/ivy/lib/Pig/jackson-*
build/ivy/lib/Pig/jackson-core-asl-1.6.0.jar
build/ivy/lib/Pig/jackson-mapper-asl-1.6.0.jar

>    Affects Versions: 0.8.0
>            Reporter: Brandon Williams
>            Assignee: Dmitriy V. Ryaboy
>            Priority: Trivial
>
> Pig is currently using jackson 1.0.1, which when used in conjunction with
> cassandra and avro caused a method not found error. Rebuilding pig with
> jackson 1.4 makes the problem go away.
