Pig 11 currently uses jRuby 1.6.x which are quite old now. jRuby 1.7.x has been
out for quite awhile and are the current stable builds.
It would be good to upgrade to 1.7 to gain more performance improvements and
bug fixes, this is especially true if used with Java 7.
