You all know Yash. He has been an amazing contributor, working on both the ingestion and query side, especially MSE. He is working right now at StarTree Inc and has been contributing to other Apache projects like Kafka and Calcite. The PMC - Project Management Committee - manages and guides the direction of the project, and is responsible for inviting new committers and PMC members to steward the longevity of the project.
