It should be OK to put the POM for this in the examples/maven-archetype
directory directly, or wherever is most appropriate (for example, we have an
Ant script called deployment-example.xml in the root directory that isn't
included in the distribution, but is used to build Windows and OS X native
deployment containers for a sample app in the examples project).
