Hi all, for 2.1 I'm thinking on some refactorings like yours because as you during my tests on list/table/tree and selection related operation I've seen a need for similar features. To me seem strange that some parts of Pivot aren't already done in this way but I don't see a reason to not do it, if there aren't objections from others.
