Aaron Digulla commented on PIVOT-858:
-------------------------------------
Further information:
- I'm on openSUSE Linux 12.1, IcedTea-Web Plugin (using IcedTea-Web 1.2
(suse-3.1-x86_64)), Java 1.6.0_24, Chromium 21.0.1145.0
- All the demos on http://pivot.apache.org/demos/ work.
- Cleaning the cache doesn't help, still the same error on
http://pivot.apache.org/tutorials/link-buttons.html
- When I said "I just clicked next", I mean "this is how I found all the broken
pages". There might be more pages which are broken.
It might be a bug in IcedTea but I'm wondering about the "javascript" error. I
checked my installation of IcedTea and there is a rhino.jar, so javascript
should be available on my side.
Maybe this would be a good time to enhance the error dialog with a way to
display the full stack trace plus a way to copy it to the clipboard?
> Some examples in the web site show the error "Script engine for 'javascript'
> not found"
