OK, cool! I'll try upgrading the Tika PowerPoint parser to use the latest HSLF and report back on any concerns I may come up with. Any status on the Word library? We have some Word parsing code in Tika that originates from textmining.org and that we'd like to push upstream to POI unless the equivalent functionality already is there. > Why can't you use POI scratchpad for now?
