Hi, My XL chart has two work sheets. Work sheet #1 contains data. Work sheet #2 contains a chart that is based on the data in work sheet #1. I have changed some data in work sheet #1 using POI and closed the work book. When I tried to open the XL file by double clicking it, I was getting "File error: data may have been lost" when I tried to open by double clicking it on Windows XP although the file got opened. This error is not acceptable in our environment. What makes matters worse is that I cannot even open the file in certain version of windows XP (such as Korean version).
