+1 to cut 3.7-FINAL after October 1. I plan to submit a few more bug
fixes by that time.
Also, I think it would be a good idea to credit names of our
contributors in the release notes. Shall I prepare a list of people who
have contributed by submitting bug reports or by participating in the
issue resolution process ?

It looks like we've actually fixed a fair number of bugs in the last
month, since 3.7 beta2 came out.
With that in mind, I'm tempted to say we should do another beta
release. My idea would be to roll it later this week, if people are
happy. Then, in a month's time, assuming we haven't had that many bug
fixes, do a FINAL release then :)
Does that make sense to people? Or is there a feeling that we should
go for a FINAL now?
