Hi there,
I've got a simple component which allows to export data from excel using an XML
declaration (obviously using POI). This declaration basically provides some
hints and
lookup mechanisms to identify the data that has to be extracted. It is exported
into
TableModel instances which can be easily used for a display or can be used for
further
processing steps.

Basically I intend to stop this project as I personally don't have any plans to
continue
it. Even though it's not a very sophisticated component it was in fact really
useful to me
since I need to handle various differently but similar styled Excel files.
Since I already invested some time I would like to know if there's interest for
a code
contribution. If so I would make the necessary changes to the codebase and
would change
the license accordingly.
