If you start with just a very simple file, no headers/footers and no
images, does it all work fine?
If you then add simple headers/footers (but still no images), does that

Then add images, how's that?
I suspect there's one specific bit that is causing you problems, so you
probably need to start with simple files and see where it breaks, rather
than trying to simply a complex file
Then I tried to return to a stable version of the API (3.7) (using the
same methods of replacement) but when I try to save a file, the file
created is generated as an invalid and corrupted.
HWPF has been having a lot of work done to it lately, and a lot of bugs
have been fixed, but there's alas still more to do...
