Dear apache poi developers Some time having the same issue as desribed on founded in dev.apache public mailings. In a case of importing of matematical symbols in MS Symbol Font by apache poi getting an open bracket instead of them. Poi 3.9 is used. It can be mentined that if this file is resaved by openoffice in 2003 format - it imports those symbols well. Sorry but it is not possible to attach file, but related one tends to be found on you mailing box.
