I'm +1, I think switching to JDK 1.6 for the next release after 3.10
would be a good thing. I also would think that only a few people are
still bound to 1.4/1.5. Especially until the next release of poi (3.11
or 4.0) is released, it will probably take another year, where JDK 8
is then the current JDK from Oracle.
