--- Comment #30 from [email protected] --- If this helps, I managed to create an excel 97-03 file (.xls) with encryptionType = 4 by creating a new spreadsheet in Excel 2013, populating with some random data, password protecting it, and saving as "Excel 97-03 (.xls)". I can attach it if needed.
