Sorry to read that, but I have to admit that I usually immediatly remove emails
containing expressions like shift rows, cell style, formula evaluation ...
You can try to stimulate a discussion / review, but sometimes you have to
decide yourself, if your work will go into the trunk. And if not, it stays in
the bugzilla. When I've started to participate in the project, I also had a few
unanswered design question. I think you gathered enough insight about that
topic, to make a sensible decission (... i.e. commit it ;) )Maybe you should
also relax ... if you browse through the codebase there a lot of half
implemented parts, so if your implementation is better than the current, it is
mostly worth commiting it ...
