Hi everyone, Thanks for the Polaris Community meeting yesterday. Here's the main takeaways: - Great proposal for OPA support in Polaris. Sung got feedback from the community, he will update the proposal document and the PR. I propose to move forward on the PR. - Related to OPA support, we discussed how to create "Polaris assembly". It was the second item in the agenda. I will create a proposal document with a PoC to show a possible option to improve that. - About 1.12.0 release prep, we have one blocker (JDBC schema evolution) that should be fixed soon. Also, if we plan to include polaris CLI in the binary distribution, it requires new "legal" checks (LICENSE/NOTICE/dependencies). I will do a review on the PRs and distribution, please do so as well. The 1.2.0 release should be "time boxed": I propose to have it to vote this month, if we can't include everything, it will be bumped to 1.3.0. - Related to Polaris CLI, a discussion will be started about renaming the python artifact, ... - Due to time constraints, we didn't have time to discuss the Data Lake operational metrics proposal. I will schedule a dedicated meeting about that, and I propose, in the meantime, to discuss on the dev mailing list.
