Hi all, The vote to release Apache Polaris 1.6.0 (rc0) has not passed. Thanks to everyone who reviewed and validated the release candidate.
Vote summary: -1: - Alexandre Dutra (binding) - Jean-Baptiste Onofré (binding) - Adnan Hemani (non-binding) The blocking issue is a regression in the Spark bundle/fat jar publication: the Spark bundle artifacts are missing from the Maven staging repository. The fix is tracked in: https://github.com/apache/polaris/pull/4876 JB also identified a few LICENSE/NOTICE cleanup items during validation. I will work with the community to address the release-blocking issues and prepare a new release candidate. I will cancel rc0 artifacts and follow up with rc1 once the fixes are ready. Thanks, -ej
