While it's not strictly required, I agree we should have a 0.9 tag.

The git hash for the current 0.9.RC2 head is: 116797982cec1e483349ed48a397e0b0cdad5b1d

I can take care of creating such tag.

For future releases, I'd propose to set as required to create a tag, for the release process: it definitely helps keeping track of things.
