Even if it is OT: Feel free to ask MS if we get their Word Doc 
Spezifikation and you will get the best possible MS Importfilter 
otherwise it won't get that much better then it currently is and 
the few more percents that 2.0 will add. 

It's near to an  illusion to get 100% if you have to do it on a try 
and error base and reverse engineering and with the help of 
documents you have and you get via Issuezilla. 
 
And often enough on expose here in germany there are more people 
telling us that OOo/SO was able to even open old Word Docs that MSO 
itsself refused to open and we had some hot discussion with that 
kind of people telling and the one sharing your point of view.
