I try to apply all the patches Eric B provided and to be absolute
sure I make no mistakes I better ask twice before making one big
mistake.
I wanted to apply the patch for the sfx2 module but it seems as if
the patch has an error in line ending. The message I get is:

Just lloked it up in my source tree again and didn't find the patch
file which means this patch was already applied in cvs.
