Hi,

Hi,

About post-packaging of the Mac OSX version of OOo1.9.xx, I have found this application, under BSD licence :
<http://s.sudre.free.fr/Software/Iceberg.html>

After contacting the author, who confirms*** what follows, this application is probably a better way than packagemaker for post-packaging OOo1.9.xx. I just have read carefully packagemaker doc, but not yet understand how to do... ( for only one package, it's very easy)

I have not tested yet, but this seems to be very usefull for us :

Classical install : with OOo packaging we have 12 archives with *.pkg extension, so 12 times, while installation, the user has to give admin password and click OK to the Licence
*quite long, no ?* ( And what thinks the user about such installation ?)

With iceberg : "only one" package, called metapackage, so only*** one time for the user to enter admin password and accept the Licence *interessant, no* ? :-)

Hope this help you
you can also create meta-packages with packagemaker. I did that when distributing my German m66 build to the Germen dev community. I remember I had to tweak the install locations for the packages somewhere inside an xml document but that was ok...
I don't know about the command line arguments though because I did the re-packaging with the GUI.

Best regards,
Florian
