Hi Maho,

NAKATA Maho a crit :
Hi,
I just started Mac OS X port with NetBSD/pkgsrc.

Great ! Just a question : with this port, it will be possible to use directly OOo on NetBSD ?
( I need more explanation, I'm not sure to completely understand )

If so, please contact Isabelle at : isabelle dot hurbain at pasithee dot net , because she's both working on NetBSD port for french project.

pkgsrc is platform independent package management system,
unfortunately requires UFS or HFS+ case sensitve partition :(
Mac OS X is officially supported by pkgsrc, but it seems
we have to work more.

Hummm : Mac OSX is not really case sensitive , but afaik, it seems to work with the code. I invite you to do some tries, just in case ( it's recursive ;-) )

Eric, have you raised an issue like Porting OOo 2.0 for FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=40187

No, not yet. But I'm seriously working on it...

FYI, I'm here :

<http://eric.bachard.free.fr/mac/MacOSX_m77/instructions/build_SRC680_m77_macosx.txt>
Plus all the up-to-date patches here : <http://eric.bachard.free.fr/mac/MacOSX_m77/patches/>

Just berkeleydb patches are always missing, because I'm just verifying all my changes (it's long and they're a lot of dependencies).

I probably will end and do the latest patches update tomorrow (perhaps today, but not sure).
At least scp2 will probably give us some problems too, because always changing (the latest patch is now completely wrong)

When completed, I'll complete all relative issues, while building : like that, everyone can verify there is no supplementary hack I forgot to mention.

Please note that :

- I had to modify some patches (interferences with FREEBSD on some cws)
- every supplementary "hack" will be blogged (in instructions, as a .txt format file )
- I often update this page

I couldn't find any so I raised one:

Just last night, I was thinking to open one. Too late, Pavel won :-)

http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=42382
Please attach issues you have raised.

Sorry, but I *do not* want to update to 10.3.7, and I only have 10.3.4. Maybe we can change the issue name ?
This can be important, because some potential libraries mismatches can occur, and less user can probably use it (sure, a lot of Mac Users are always running with 10.3.4 )

As far as I know:

http://www.openoffice.org/issues/buglist.cgi?issue_id=27575+37728+37803+37803+37919+38130+38161+38417+38504+38506+38520+38602+39263+39912+39913+39914+39915+39927+39928+39931+39933+39935+39937+39942+39950+39952+39957+39958+39961+39965+39966+39969

I now understand what Pavel wanted to say when he write me a "one liner only" :-)

Pavel, we need your help...

:-)

Regards, eric bachard
