Hi,

MacOS X is not in a shape I'd call "ready for Beta". But I think we are
ready to provide preview release in time for Beta. I've added MacOS X
platform to my build system, so I'm now able to regularly produce builds
for it.

Right now, we have two crucial issues:

- helpcontent2 freeze because of berkeleydb (#i39263#)

For now, I'm workarounding this by including pre-build en-US helpcontent2
for all languages. We need help to fix this as this seems to be really
deep in berkeleydb. Eric tried to update berkeleydb, but I do not know
what is the status of his effort.

- Digital signatures initialization doesn't work (#i41276#, fixed in xmlsec08).

I have included workaround to disable signatures completely for now, this
fix will be removed once xmlsec08 is integrated.
