I see what you are saying, though, you may have missed
my point. When creating a database connection, you
have to type in the database name. If you have the
privileges, why not allow the user to select the
database in the same way as they select the tables?
This may mean an extra screen in the Database
connection wizard.

After an OOo crash, help seems to improve. The error
below, I could not reproduce any more. I'm waiting
about 0-3 seconds, depending on the amount of stuff on
the page, and what is going on in the background.

See above.

I understand, it is certainly a good idea to move OOo
to /Applications as stated. QuickSilver seems to have
it in the list, and I have also stuck the folder in
the Finder sidebar.
Before the install I did not have a /opt directory,
but it is hidden in the finder.

In terms of the bug reporter. I think it is pretty
good, though the ability to log the bug reports untill
your on-line would be useful. So far I have been no
where near an internet connection, when I had a crash.
I have also been in the need for getting on with
further work, before I was able to be online. This in
all meant that I did not submit the reports.

This install of OOo is giving me pleasant surprises
all the time!

8-)
