Yes indeed. And we didn't release m79 cause nobody gave a general O.K. and I learned my lessons and I didn't want to do another solo run. In the meantime we build m83 without greater problems and a fewer patches. But still there are patches needed and another cws. I have my patches but not the maybe additional patches that Eric Bachard had for his m83 build. Second we both used patches which were officially refused and so they cannot be used in the official sources/releases but I for myself refuse to not use them cause they make life easier on the Mac equal how good or poor the code quality of them may be or if they are general enought. What I mean are the patches for creating Metapackages and the one for accendet chars support. Third. I have no M85 for Mac OS X. I didn't have the time to build it and M86 which I checked out yesterday didn't get further then the ./configure script. The whole config_office module seemed to be messed up for using it on Mac OS X. But M87 is on the horizon and Florian Heckl can join building from tomorrow on and Eric Bachard later the week. But ask Maho I guess he has an M85 build but I think with the help of the NetBSD Package Collection. Pavel may have Mac OS X builds too. I totally lost control on who currently builds Mac OS X and which Milestone. We three, Florian, Eric and me, try to coordinate and build the same Milestone but we are not the only ones and perhaps others have better builds. > Also, are you just releasing it via the DE project? I think we could do > a more general release--English, French *and* German ;-) Of course we can! I just want an O.K. from a person in charge. At the moment I have M83 in German, Englisch and Frensh. I have an invitation to the german testers to test this M83 and report bugs. This invitation could be the base for a PR or not. Ed also mentioned the ooodocs forums. There we may find testers. The biggest Problem is that so far nobody seems to have a build for Mac OS X 10.2.x aka Jaguar. We currently build using XCode 1.5 plus November 2004 gcc 3.3 Update and Mac OS X 10.3.x which excludes all prior Mac OS X releases.
