I just found a libfontconfig.1.0.dylib in /usr/X11R6/lib, so fontconfig seems really be used for/with X11 (at least the one from Apple), but using old version only. I don't know which one is used on XDarwin.


Don't know what advantage gives fontconfig, so for now, the more safe is, IMHO, to use --disable-fontconfig option in configure. Waiting, I'll ask on Mac OSX forums


workaround for continue the build :

change ENABLE_FONTCONFIG="YES" in MacosxEnv.Set.sh in ENABLE_FONTCONFIG=""
After, source again MacosxEnv.Set.sh, remove psprint/unxmacxp.pro , and psprint will build fine.
