First thanks for your participation but currently there is no need to test the movability of OOo out of /opt to /Applications. > We could change the install dir in the installer. No need for this too. Pavel Janiks patch soon wil be in the main source code tree. We then will have /Applications as default location for OOo under Mac OS X. In addition we also have a shell script that creates metapackages instead of singel packages. > I'm looking to update BeginOOo2.0 to allow for the > OpenDocument format (OOo2.0 native). If anyone has the > source code, I'll update it. The source code is owned by Kevin B. Hendricks. But we don't want to use this script any longer because it contains gpl Software and so we aren't allowed to provide it with the main OOo package. We have the authors permission to use the gpl parts for OOo as LGPL/SISL but here some informations are still necessary. Terry Teague the author of Start OpenOffice.org wants, if I understand him right, to make his script work with 2.0. Florian Heckl also reprogrammed the Begin_OOo script so that we have the same functionality but this time under LGPL/SISL licence. And a few days ago someone other too provided a launcher for the comming OOo 2.0 for Mac OS X. > Will we be using updated icons, if so are available > yet, or is some other project resposible for them > (art?)? Yes. There are Icons available but they have poor quality. Christian Zwahlen asked a few days ago, who provided them. So far he got no answer. He asked because we need higher resolutions and they need to be a bit more beautiful. Feel free to contact Christian via this list and work together with him on creating new Icons. > Shaun McDonald > Thanks > Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mit freundlichen Gren Eric Hoch -- ## Ansprechpartner Anwenderuntersttzung, users-Mailingliste, MacOS X ## War unsere Hilfe erfolgreich?
