No hints about the usage in connection with Open Source Licences.
There is no need for Apple to especially mention OSLs because the rules are the same for all types of QuickTime development. Since we don't ship any part of the QuickTime libraries or binaries but just link against those libraries and use the QuickTime API, there's nothing we should fear.
We could however add QuickTime to OOo's (runtime) requirements on the Mac but since no Mac can actually live without it, we may as well leave it out.
