No, it's just a bit new. Florian and me have already build and packaged both 1.9.xxx and 1.1.4 on Tiger, at least two times. Today is the last. This is possible, but not yet easy.
Oh well, I cannot get Eric's port to start. I typed in ./setup and get errors:
sh: line 1: crash_report: command not found

I have tested bith fr, en-US and de ?

The Tiger_build don't work in Panther
