Yes !!! I was searching why j2re was so slow on Linux PPC since some time, but never mind it could be here here... This stupid typo from my part is probably the reason, and this needs to be verified immediatly (I'm rebooting on Linux PPC).
Before to open a new issue, I have to verify first on Linux PPC if j2re is less slow after fixing the typo.
If so, I'll commit your patch against <http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=49030>
Else against another issue.
About the change for MACOSX macro, It's IMHO less important, but your patch is more clean than mine.
