Hi Maho,

OOo1.9m107 does work my Mac OS X Tiger, but if we prepare
vanilla Mac OS X Tiger,

If so, _who_does_what_ ?

it just starts but selecting Writer
from menu does nothing, and immdeately crashes.

Ooops... :-/

Not sure at all, but have you verified there's no more libxmlsec circulary dependencies with some symlink ? And probably the same was existing with libxmlsec-nss...

Just a question. If ever m107 can start, are you able to obtain the following keys : [ { } ] \ € |
...in writer ( but not only ) ?

If so you are lucky : because of some changes or something like that in Apple X11 (XFree4.4.0 in fact), it's no more possible since 10.4 for me (verified with Rene, Filip, Florian..)

Other non "Apple provided" applications, like fink's one, have the same problem ( xchat, gnumeric, gedit, OOo...). Afaik, kde applis only are able to use the complete keyboard. More mysterious, xev gives the correct key number/id, but nothing appears... :-/

Darwinport's people are aware, and don't know neither what happens (last time, on #fink channel, someone reports me it was the case). It's not an xmodmap problem with Mode_switch and/or other missing keycode (I have tested a lot of other tips before).

Of course, if you know something, thank's in advance for any information...
FYI, this is : <http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=49752>

Just my opinion : propose a "vanilla" version without fix this is really not a good idea (how use e.g. Formula ?)
