In OOo yes, sure. XKEYBOARD extension is missing with new Apple's X11.
Now, X11 has to be launched with +kb option to workaround it, or
keyboard has to be mapped differently as another workaround.

Yes, we can confirm (at least for OO.o) because the issue has been
known almost as long as Tiger is out:

Waiting, I have an idea for fix this directly in OOo code (Mac OS X
only). Because I'm not sure it will work, I'd prefer do some tests
before discuss about this.
