As my first post to this list, a short presentation of myself will
indeed be a very good start :)

My name is Maxime Petazzoni. I'm 19 years old and currently studying
in the Université de Technologie de Belfort Montbéliard
(http://www.utbm.fr), in the east of France. I'll be entering the
Computer Science departement in March 2006.

1) F/OSS community

* Apache Software Foundation committer, with SVN access to mod_mbox,
docs and website repositories. Succesfully completed Google's Summer
Of Code 2005, working on mod_mbox
  (http://httpd.apache.org/mod_mbox).

* Core developer of Zwe (Zwe is Website Engine, http://zwe.bulix.org),
a modular PHP/MySQL website engine featuring advanced blog module
and user management. I used this project to learn PHP and
MySQL. Used by about 20 people by now.

* Team leader and core developer of Gobelins
(http://gobelins-project.org), an attempt to create a decentralized
and distributed hosting platform for virtual universes. Currently in
very early stages of development though.

* Administrator, developer and webmaster of my school's students
  association website (http://ae.utbm.fr).

2) Skills

Nothing (yet) about OO.org, this will come soon ;-)
Code: mainly C, PHP, Lua, Python, Shell scripting
OS: mainly GNU/Linux. some knowledge on OpenBSD and MacOS systems

3) Hardware

A bunch of x86 boxes. Currently hosting the Bi-G5 Eric just announced.

Well, that's all ! I'll post more information about the Tinderbox
project in the relevant thread.

Thanks for your attention,
- Sam
