A good idea but I will have to edit other sites as well. So I guess 
best would be to do the clean up after the editing of all the 
sites.

If you have ssh access this is not necessary. You may ask Martin 
Hollmichel if he grants you webpage developer status for the 
porting project so that you may do the commit of the files via cvs 
yourself. 

Do you know how to use cvs? If so it should be no problem to check 
out the content of the porting mac webpage via anoncvs. 

I assume you know how to check out source code via cvs so it's 
basicly the same for the website. 

The cvs command I use is 

cvs -z3 co -r porting/www/mac

Once this is done you can use 

cvs -z3 update for updates.
