if I am meant with "Christian", then you need to remove me from that list, because I don't have write access in the porting project. However, we shouldn't bloat comments = adding new stuff to it even if we think we know it well. That's what I think. Additionally I think a very efficient way to do something concentrated like this is to meet somewhere and do what Python lovers declare to be a "sprint", meaning that they push the codebase forward in a limited amount of time by gathering in one room altogether and collaborate. As some of us do not live too far away from each other we could have the possibility to meet somewhere someday at least.
