When I try to run the installer, I get
! Could not run the script "droplet"
because of a program error.

Edit OK
Clicking on OK leaves the installer running, but idle; the only useful
function is quit. Clicking on Edit (or selecting Edit under the Edit
menu after clicking OK) brings up the error 'Could not read the
dictionary of the application or extension because it is not
scriptable.', with only an OK option.
