Hi,
For the record, OpenOffice.org 2.0 works on Mactel. This is not perfect
because bridges needs still some adjustments, but OpenOffice.org 2.0
works already very well.

*Last minute* :
To help us, Apple proposed us a place on their stand (a machine is
reserved), to present OpenOffice.org Universal Binaries on Solution
Linux in Paris (31january ~3 february 2006).
I have accepted te proposition, and will try to provide them Universal
Binaries in time.
FYI : current Status of OpenOffice.org on Mac Intel :
1) Intel version , not using Rosetta :
- 1.1.5 -> no build (not sure it will be buildable using gcc-4.0.x)
- OpenOffice.org 2.0.x installs, and works fine. Java works fine too.
Just some well identified cases cause instant crashes
2) PowerPC versions (using Rosetta to work ) :
- 1.1.5 (ppc) works without any problem on Mactel : install
dictionnaries, fonts, everything works.
To make short, all QA tests are ok. I prefer not say more, but it's not
slow.
- All 2.0.x (ppc) are working well too (excepted Java part). I have read
somewhere that someone has made it work (some configuration tip I forgot
since). Not investigated more.
Again, many thanks to *Daniel Boelzle*, *Stephan Bergmann* , *Florian
Heckl* for their help, without forget *Cusoon* and *Team OpenOffice.org
e.V* for the Mactel(s) rent !
Regards,
eric bachard
