We read in the Pulsar documentation that the client has to respond to pings but is not required to send them. Is the dotpulsar library sending pings to the server for keep-alive functionality, or is it only responding to pings? If we are not sending pings, perhaps the connection could have been closed due to network issues and this is not identified by the tcp stack. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
