Hi all I'd like to propose backporting the following related topic-loading observability improvements to branch-4.0 and branch-4.2:
- #26163: Trace the asynchronous tasks in logs when loading topics https://github.com/apache/pulsar/pull/26163 - #26264: Add a reason label for topic_load_failed_total https://github.com/apache/pulsar/pull/26264 - #26666: Trace topic-loading latency and timeout states https://github.com/apache/pulsar/pull/26666 These changes form a coherent set of improvements for diagnosing slow, failed, and timed-out topic loading. They provide more detailed latency tracing, pending-action and timeout context, and more accurate failure-reason attribution for the topic_load_failed_total metric. For #26163, it was cherry-picked into branch-4.2. I list it here as the foundational change for this series; no duplicate cherry-pick is needed where it is already present. Thanks Yubiao Feng
