The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Pulsar is delighted to announce that Tao Jiuming has joined the PMC!
Tao Jiuming has been an active contributor to Apache Pulsar since 2022, with a strong focus on the correctness and performance of the broker and the managed ledger. He has fixed many subtle concurrency and data-consistency issues in managed ledgers, cursors, transactions and delayed message delivery, and has improved Pulsar's observability by adding metrics for transactions, the metadata store, entry filters and offloading. He authored PIP-404, which introduced per-ledger properties, and recently added support for the BookKeeper batch read API. He also participates in community discussions and reviews pull requests, helping us make steady progress in Pulsar development. The PMC - Project Management Committee - manages and guides the direction of the project, and is responsible for inviting new committers and PMC members to steward the longevity of the project. See https://community.apache.org/pmc/responsibilities.html if you're interested in learning more about the rights and responsibilities of PMC members. Please join us in welcoming Tao Jiuming to their new role in our project! Lari Hotari On behalf of the Apache Pulsar PMC
