Windows doesn't configure the REDO key for repeat, there's no initial key binding at all. While I'm personally not affected by this issue (I never use REDO), I nevertheless support your case (morally, at least :). One more argument for changing the mapping is the following: If my keyboard had a REDO key, I would expect it to REDO something. At the moment, it REPEATS. Isn't this strange? From a usability perspective, this is certainly not conforming to the user's expectations. (Yes, in the english language REDO could also be "do something again", not only "re-do the changes which you just undid". Would be interesting to see this in another localization. Nevertheless, there is a menu item "Redo", with a certain key binding, and another menu item "Repeat", with a key binding named "Redo". This is weird.)
