Hello Noel,
it's absolutely clear that these 'alienated' versions use a different hid.lst because AFAIK these versions include features from the 'unstable' development branch which aren't available within the stable 1.1.x branch. If you want to make sure that the hid.lst is compatible then use the applications built from OpenOffice.org CVS. This doesn't necessarily mean that the other builds are worse than the builds which are made from OOo CVS but they somehow differ.
Kind regards, Joost
Do you think the issue maybe that default openoffice builds on the
Novell and Redhat Enterprise distributions for example are built a bit
different and generate a completely different hid.lst. I see no issues
when I am using 1.1.1 with the qatesttool (1.1.1). However on 1.1.3 on
Novell and 1.1.2 on Redhat Enterprise Desktop 4 - (tested with
qatestool 1.1.3 and 1.1.2) I do see problems related with an
incompatible hid.lst. Has this been an issue before?
