First off -- great release! Much smoother, and I'm able to create / use
most MS Office with much higher compatibility.
I've found a small issue with saving/reading an Impress doc with a
circular arrow as PowerPoint XP format. Not sure whether it's the save
or read that isn't working as I don't have PPT to check (though saving
as PDF works perfectly.
I searched the mail lists and issue tracker but didn't find anything.
To recreate (I'm using 104, on XP sp2):
Create a new presentation -- just accept the blank defaults. Add a
circular arrow from the shapes toobar. Save as PPT (2000/XP version) -
accept the dialogue that says this might happen ('Yes' option). Close
document. Re-open document.
The arrow will be shown, in the correct position but the arrow head is
flattened to almost a single line. This happens regardless of whether
you have dragged the yellow handles to re-shape prior to saving.
Re-shaping via the yellow handle after opening the ppt, the shape is
corrupted. As a first diagnosis, it looks like the anchors/points on the
arrow head are drawn in the wrong order, making the shape invert the
arrow head.
Hope that's enough info,
Ken
