The functionality which you're looking for is available since StarOffice
3.0 (1995).
How about creating a page style 'bar' for the first page and a page
style 'foo' for the follow-up pages ? For page style 'bar' you just
define a 'Next Style' configuration. Did you try the stylist tool (F11)
? On the first page of it's configuration you'll find a tab page called
'Organizer' (or try menu item /format/page/ tabpage organizer)
