According to reports by yossy, a ja community member, only with
Windows XP SP2 + KB873333, setup.exe and soffice.exe abort.
If you uninstall KB873333, you can perform setup.exe and install
OOo115rc on Windows XP SP2 and you can start OpenOffice.org.
Now if you install KB873333 and reboot the system and try to start
OpenOffice.org, soffice.exe abort.
My System is WinXP SP2, KB873333 installed.
Beside the effect I already told, setup.exe and soffice.exe sem to run fine.
What is your pretty Windows system? XP SP1 or SP2 or whatever?
And can you tell me how did you perform "multiuserinstall" in detail
step by step?
- unzip the the install package
- call setup -net
- do a user defined installation with all components selected.
Installpath is not the default, but my own.
- after this install is finisched, start setup.exe from the path where
you just instaled OOo
- choose worksation setup and leave defaults for all other settings
- after setup finishes, OOo is going to be started -> DOS Box wth error
message appears
